Bradley Cooper Addresses Plastic Surgery Speculations
Bradley Cooper has finally cleared the air regarding rumors about his appearance and plastic surgery. During an episode of the podcast “Smartless,” the 51-year-old actor discussed how he’s noticed these speculations making their way into his everyday life.
He shared with hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett that several individuals have approached him recently, expressing their surprise regarding his looks. “They’re like, ‘Oh, that’s cool!’” Cooper recalled.
Will Arnett chimed in, expressing his frustration about the continuous gossip surrounding his friend. “It pissed me off because people say things like that all the time. I just find it amusing. Everyone thinks they know everything,” he remarked, clearly unimpressed by the chatter.
The conversation was sparked when Arnett was asked to share something about Cooper that most people might not know. He pointed out that the ongoing speculation about Cooper and plastic surgery seems to be based on misunderstandings. “What people don’t know, I think, is that he doesn’t know either,” Arnett explained, with a hint of humor.
This marked a significant moment as it was the first time Cooper has openly responded to plastic surgery rumors. Previously, he faced criticism after wearing a prosthetic nose for his role as Leonard Bernstein in the film “Maestro,” and he felt compelled to defend that creative decision.
Reflecting on his motivations, Cooper emphasized that the project was born out of love, explaining, “My nose is actually very similar to Lenny’s.”
In his personal life, Cooper has shifted his focus to his romantic involvement with model Gigi Hadid. They have been linked since 2023. Hadid has a five-year-old daughter with former One Direction star Zayn Malik, while Cooper co-parents his eight-year-old daughter, Lea, with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk.
