Zoe Welsh, a cherished teacher, was reportedly murdered by a repeat offender who broke into her home. The distressing events were captured during a 911 call made by Welsh on January 3rd.
During the call, she informed the dispatcher that a man had entered her Raleigh home through a window. Welsh described the intruder as someone she believed to be homeless, someone she had seen around Fred Fletcher Park before. She mentioned that the man was still inside her home and that he had used a brick to break the window.

The suspect, identified as Ryan Camacho, a 36-year-old man, was apprehended in the vicinity without resistance. He has been charged with murder and felony trespassing.
