Incident Involving FBI and ICE Agents in Minneapolis
A progressive media outlet, Status Coup News, has reported that FBI and ICE agents were filmed during a YouTube livestream in Minneapolis on Wednesday, as shared by several users on X. This event unfolded after an ICE officer was involved in a shooting that resulted in the death of a Venezuelan migrant, who was allegedly ambushed.
During the livestream, a woman displayed a document that she claimed contained private information taken from an ICE vehicle. Following the incident, another progressive outlet, Meidas Touch, shared clips of the situation, which showcased some of this gathered material. Multiple users on X shared what they described as recordings from the livestream, highlighting incidents around the shootout.

“An ICE agent vehicle parked on the street had to get out of its vehicle during the shootout…”
By Thursday morning, the alleged documents displayed in the clips were not visible on the livestreams. Status Coup and Meidas Touch have not yet responded to inquiries regarding this situation.
Colin Rugg, a popular user on X, shared a clip where the woman detailed that during the initial shooting, an ICE agent’s vehicle was surrounded by protesters and had to leave behind a document. She claimed it contained a list of FBI-related information, including names and contact details of agents.
The woman further reported that the document included maps pointing to various locations where migrants were being held, including details like hotels and judges’ names.
The Department of Homeland Security mentioned in a post that the immigrant who was shot had been released into the U.S. during the Biden administration and was attempting to evade capture. Their statement noted that law enforcement was pursuing this individual, who resisted arrest and became aggressive.
As the officer was confronted by multiple individuals, fearing for his safety, he discharged his weapon, striking the immigrant in the leg.
In a troubling statistic, assaults on ICE agents surged by 1,300% in 2025, with death threats soaring by 8,000%, according to a DHS report. The agency has claimed that exposed personal information has led to a heightened risk for ICE officers, leading some to adopt increased security measures.
