Continued Protests Over Renee Good’s Death
Protests against Renee Good are ongoing across the U.S. Good, a 37-year-old woman, was shot by an ICE officer on January 7th, after she allegedly obstructed federal immigration efforts and struck an agent with her vehicle.
Many liberal activists, particularly women, are reviving a protest tactic they used after the 2024 election, when President Trump defeated Kamala Harris. They’re expressing solidarity with Good while also voicing opposition to Trump and ICE.
After the election, a movement emerged where women shaved their heads in protest, fearing a slide into dictatorship. Now, this is happening again for Renee Good, with all the hair gone, which is somehow linked to their opposition.
“These people are mentally insane,” remarked a host from Blaze TV, adding to the conversation that, well, just doesn’t seem very logical.
A video shared during this protest features a participant involved in the “Shave for Renee” trend, captioned with: “We watched Renee Good brutally shot by ICE.” This prompted laughter from the host, who remarked on the absurdity of someone shaving their head for someone they don’t even know.
For those who think Good didn’t hit the ICE officer, it’s worth noting that reports from DHS indicate he was indeed struck and suffered internal injuries. The officer himself noted Good’s condition at the hospital, contradicting statements from local officials suggesting a lesser injury.
“Keep shaving your heads so we can see who the real Looney Tunes are,” the host added, suggesting it could help identify those participating in what she views as misguided actions.
