Texas Twins Arrested for Suspected Murders
Two twin brothers from Texas have been taken into custody on allegations of murdering two men back in November. The incidents include a robbery, during which one victim was reportedly forced to strip at gunpoint in 2021.
The victims, Devan Randles, age 19, and Isaiah Gonzalez, age 20, were shot in separate incidents in the Fort Worth area on November 15 and November 30, respectively.
Twins Samuel and Solomon Gbadebo, both 20, have emerged as primary suspects after tips were received, according to a search warrant affidavit that law enforcement acquired.
It has been reported that Gonzalez had previously robbed the twins in 2021, where he allegedly forced them to strip naked at gunpoint. This has led some to speculate that Gonzalez’s death might be a form of retaliation related to that earlier incident.
Gonzalez was fatally shot in the parking lot of Flip’s Patio Grill, where he was employed. Surveillance footage captured him getting into a car with his girlfriend around 2 a.m. on November 30, just before the attack. Other footage revealed two men near the parking lot firing shots at Gonzalez’s vehicle, resulting in severe injuries that later claimed his life at a hospital.
During the investigation, police discovered a video in Gonzalez’s belongings depicting two young black men being held at gunpoint while unclothed. Authorities utilized facial recognition technology, confirming the individuals in the video were indeed the Gbadebo twins.
It’s not clear whether Gonzalez faced any legal repercussions prior to his death.
Meanwhile, Randles was killed in a shooting outside an apartment complex on November 15. He, along with three other men, was reportedly seen colliding with a parked vehicle before the shooting occurred, though details surrounding that incident remain undisclosed.
Security footage identified a white Nissan Altima leaving the vicinity right after the gunfire. Remarkably, this vehicle has been traced back to the twins’ mother.
Following a search of the twins’ residence on December 12, police found no incriminating evidence and couldn’t establish a direct connection to the shootings until they received a tip-off.
The relationship between the Gbadebo twins and Randles is still unclear.
Both brothers have now been charged with murder and were booked into the Tarrant County Jail on January 15, though details about their bonds have yet to be released.
