Exploring the *Percy Jackson and the Olympians* Season 2 Finale Post-Credits Scene

Let’s dive into that post-credits scene from the *Percy Jackson and the Olympians* Season 2 finale. What’s the deal there?

**Spoilers for *Percy Jackson and the Olympians* Season 2 finale, now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu**

For those who are still reeling from Talia Grace’s (Tamara Smart) dramatic entry into Sharon’s cabin at the end of Season 2, Episode 8, titled “The Fleece is Too Magical,” it was quite a surprise to see a familiar character make a quick reappearance right after the credits rolled.

In the post-credits scene, Circe (Rosemary Dewitt) presents two statues of Percy (Walker Scovell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) to an audience, declaring that space is limited, but claims that “the results are undeniable.” This twist certainly leaves you pondering.

However, according to Scobel and the production team, not all fan expectations might be completely fulfilled. The adaptations from *Heroes of Olympus* show hints of what might come but also serve as a kind of conclusion for Percy’s storyline regarding Circe.

“Originally, that scene was meant for episode 5, but I realized that, after episode 5, it felt like we were heading to Polyphemus Island,” shared Craig Silverstein, the executive producer. “So, this piece lingered as something we hadn’t really done before on the show.”

Scobel chimed in, saying, “I absolutely love that ending. It’s the perfect way to show that the story goes on; it’s just a new challenge for another character.”

Silverstein noted that Percy’s character truly proved himself in this context.

You might wonder what all this means. Well, it connects to Hylla (Jasmine Vega), who stands beside Circe. In the *Heroes of Olympus* series—a different set by Rick Riordan—Hylla and her sister Reyna are crucial to the escape from Circe’s island after it gets destroyed by Blackbeard.

So, does Circe’s survival in the series mean we won’t see anything from *Heroes of Olympus*? Silverstein suggests it’s too early to be concerned about that. He stated, “Hylla’s story is indeed part of *Heroes of Olympus*. There’s still time to explore that, and we’re focused on the Olympian narrative right now.”

It seems like it’s wise to focus on one storyline before branching out further. As Percy says, let’s “anchor one ship” before sailing off into the next adventure.

The first two seasons of *Percy Jackson and the Olympians* are available on Disney+ and Hulu, with Season 3 anticipated later this year.
