Incident Involving Conservative Journalist on Bus
Frank Scales, a conservative journalist and co-founder of Surge Media, was involved in a disturbing encounter with radical leftists while on a bus. The attackers accused him of being a racist and a fascist.
In a video shared from the incident, a woman can be seen continuously hitting Scales while seated, eventually brandishing mace.
Although he managed to dodge the mace, he was struck in the back of the head. When he questioned her accusations, she claimed her judgment was based on his online posts.
“You speak badly about Muslims, black people, and Mexicans, and you share it online,” she yelled, clearly agitated.
Scales recounted, “I was minding my own business, looking out the window, when suddenly this woman behind me began shouting, calling me a fascist and a racist based on something she saw online. I tried to respond, saying I didn’t agree with her take on my work.” He mentioned this during an interview with Blaze TV host Sarah Gonzalez.
He continued, noting how her aggressiveness escalated when he didn’t engage in her argument, prompting him to record the confrontation on his phone, which he later shared. “It was so unexpected how quickly she transitioned from verbal harassment to physical violence,” he added.
Gonzalez remarked on how such behavior seems characteristic of extreme liberal tactics, implying that if initial tactics fail, anger and violence often arise.
Interestingly enough, Scales recognized his attacker from their time together at Community College in Philadelphia, where they had a seemingly friendly relationship. Gonzalez inquired about the nature of their past connection.
Scales explained that he faced backlash after expressing support for the founding fathers and his support for President Trump, which led to his impeachment as student body president. That incident shifted people’s attitudes towards him.
Interestingly, he mentioned that his attacker once wrote a fictional novel that featured him as a character.
Scales expressed concern for his safety, urging the Community College of Philadelphia to take a stand against political violence.
