Eddie Gabour to Discuss Bull Market on Varney & Company

Eddie Gabour, a co-founder of Key Advisors Wealth Management, is set to appear on Varney & Company. He intends to explain his perspective on why he thinks the U.S. economy is moving towards a robust bull market, even as Wall Street sends out mixed signals.

Nvidia CEO on AI’s Impact on Jobs

In another discussion, Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, highlighted how the growing focus on artificial intelligence (AI) is positively affecting salaries in the construction sector. He shared these insights while attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, during a conversation with Larry Fink, the Interim Co-Chair of the WEF and CEO of BlackRock.

“I think, first off, this represents the largest infrastructure development in human history. This will generate numerous jobs,” Huang remarked. He mentioned that many of these jobs would be in skilled trades—plumbing, electrical work, construction, and more. “It’s fantastic that these roles are connected to craftsmen,” he added, which feels, well, important.

He pointed out that there has been a significant surge in this field. Salaries have nearly doubled, especially for those involved in constructing chip, computer, or AI factories, often reaching six-figure sums.

Nvidia’s Perspective on AI Infrastructure

Diving deeper into AI, Huang described its ecosystem, likening it to a five-layer cake. The foundational layer is energy, which is vital for real-time AI processing. Following that, he noted the importance of chips and cloud services. The pinnacle, he explained, comprises AI models and applications that deliver tangible economic benefits.

“There’s a vast deficit in this area, and it’s encouraging to see various countries recognize its significance,” Huang expressed. He emphasized that it’s possible to earn a decent living in this field without necessarily holding an advanced degree in computer science.

He continued, “The notable thing is that this computing platform necessitates all layers beneath it. We’re on the way to creating the most impressive infrastructure in human history, and it’s unfolding right before us.” Huang concluded that the AI boom will demand “trillions of dollars” in investment to develop the necessary infrastructure, and he believes such investments are wise. They’re driven by our need for models capable of generating the intelligence required for higher-level applications.
