Father confronts Cardi B for using foul language towards his daughter about Patriots choice

Content creator and radio host Anthony Donatelli recently called out rapper Cardi B for her outburst regarding her 4-year-old daughter’s NFL nomination during an Instagram Live session.

Cardi B, who is in a relationship with Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, made headlines after a video emerged showcasing her harsh words towards a young fan, Reese, labeling her a “shithole” before quickly retracting her statement.

“That’s my daughter…she’s 4 years old,” Donatelli expressed, as captured in a screenshot shared on social media.

“This is just a light-hearted, family-friendly video where she’s picking out a football helmet at random. Please, let’s not throw around profanity towards kids,” he added.

Donatelli’s “Trust the Toddler” series features Reese selecting an NFL helmet, but many believe her choices seem to bring bad luck to the teams.

Just before, Cardi B had reacted to Reese picking the Patriots over the Texans in a recent playoff game. Unfortunately, Reese wasn’t chosen to play in the conference championship, where the Patriots triumphed over the Broncos 10-7 just days ago.

In her Instagram Live clip, Cardi exclaimed, “That little white girl said we weren’t going to win. Forget her! She told everyone.”

“I’m sorry!” she repeatedly insisted. “That’s not what I meant.”

Interestingly, the Grammy winners didn’t mention anyone by name in the video.

Following New England’s victory over Houston, Donatelli humorously posted a picture of a Patriots-themed wreath, joking, “The curse has been broken!”

In an interview afterwards, Donatelli described Cardi B’s response as “disappointing.” The interview was published a few days after the divisional round game.

“I’m not here to escalate the situation. I’m not mad,” Donatelli explained. “I just want to preserve what Reese and I have created and our relationship.”

He also revealed that his family had received death threats following his daughter’s nomination at the start of the 2025 season.

“It’s bizarre,” reflected Donatelli, a lifelong Steelers fan. “She’s obviously not an NFL analyst. She picks teams based on their uniform colors or because she likes cheese from the Packers. It’s all in good fun, just little kid stuff.”
