Melania Trump Calls for Unity Amid Tensions
First Lady Melania Trump emphasized the need for national unity on Tuesday, addressing the escalating tensions following the fatal shooting of two civilians by federal agents in Minneapolis.
“We really need to come together,” she stated during an exclusive interview on “Fox & Friends.” She mentioned that her husband, the president, had a productive conversation with Governor Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey, noting their efforts to foster a peaceful environment and avoid violence.
Mrs. Trump reiterated her stance against violence, urging anyone planning to protest to do so peacefully.
Additionally, she offered comfort to those impacted by the severe winter storm that affected multiple states, leaving many facing extreme cold, heavy snowfall, and widespread power outages.
“I truly feel for people dealing with the aftermath of this storm. I’m aware that the federal government is doing everything they can to assist those in need. During times like these, it’s crucial for us as Americans to support one another,” she said, expressing her solidarity and sending her strength and love to those affected.
Mrs. Trump was participating in a live segment from the White House, promoting her upcoming film “Melania,” which is set to release worldwide on Friday. The 104-minute documentary offers a glimpse into her life, including her experiences surrounding her husband’s inauguration as the 47th president and behind-the-scenes moments in various locations like Trump Tower and Mar-a-Lago.
“This story has never been shared before,” she pointed out. “The audience will see how I manage my business and philanthropy, prepare my family for the inauguration, and set up the East Wing of the White House, all within just 20 days before the inauguration,” she explained during her conversation with Ainsley Earhardt.
Over the weekend, Mrs. Trump hosted a glamorous screening of the film at the White House, marking a notable event ahead of its release.
