FBI Allegedly Searches Election Office Related to 2020 Election

FBI Executes Search Warrant at Georgia Election Office

The FBI recently executed a search warrant at an election office in Georgia, focusing on matters related to the 2020 election.

Agents were observed entering the Fulton County Election Hub Operations Center, a facility that is set to open in 2023. This was reported by Reuters, which noted that a law enforcement source confirmed the warrant’s execution.

A tweet from Nick Sorter highlighted the situation: “The FBI just executed a search warrant on Fulton County Elections Headquarters in Georgia, finding nearly zero voter fraud in the 2020 election.” He also remarked on the nature of the investigation, suggesting that it might be an interesting development.

The FBI’s national media office provided a brief statement regarding the operation, indicating that it was a court-authorized action but did not elaborate further.

This comes on the heels of Fulton County admitting in December that around 315,000 early ballots from the 2020 presidential election were missing the necessary voter signatures for them to be counted. Despite this issue, those ballots were reportedly included in the overall vote tally and sent to the state for certification. Fulton County, which leans Democratic and encompasses much of Atlanta, significantly supported President Joe Biden in the 2020 election, playing a role in his victory.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has been seeking $6.2 million in legal fees in connection with charges related to election interference, as reported earlier this month.

The FBI’s Atlanta field office confirmed that it is conducting authorized operations at the specified location and stated that details about the ongoing investigation remain limited.
