Charges Against Self-Proclaimed Antifa Member for Threatening ICE Agents

Kyle Wagner, a 37-year-old self-identified Antifa member, faces federal charges for cyberstalking and making threatening communications. He was arrested in Minneapolis after previously posting incendiary messages advocating for violence against ICE agents.

Authorities allege that Wagner, known for his striking tattoos and now-deleted Instagram account, had encouraged his followers to take up “armed” resistance against federal immigration officers. “Before fleeing, this man allegedly called for the murder of law enforcement officers and encouraged bloodshed,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi remarked in a statement.

Wagner’s posts reportedly garnered a following of about 100,000, where he referred to the federal government in the Twin Cities as “the Gestapo” and employed violent language, reminiscent of military rhetoric. “This cannot end without good people on the streets armed and ready to protect innocent people,” he expressed in one of his lengthy rants.

During a protest, although aware he wasn’t legally permitted to possess a firearm, he wore tactical gear and mentioned he “absolutely expected to be shot” for “following the Constitution.”

His tattoos, which include an Antifa symbol and the word “RESISTANCE,” cover much of his body, adding to his distinctive appearance.

On January 8, Wagner sent a message through social media, warning ICE agents that “we’re coming for you.” The next day, he urged followers to engage in “constant harassment” against them and even suggested violent actions, saying, “Wherever we have a chance to get them, we have to get them.”

In addition to threats against ICE agents, he reportedly identified their supporters online, disclosing personal information that included addresses and phone numbers.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche commented on the situation, indicating that Antifa’s tactics demonstrate a disregard for law and order. “Under the leadership of President Trump and Attorney General Bondi, there will be no safe haven for terrorists,” he asserted.
