Federal Agent Arrests Antifa Member for Threats Against ICE
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has reported the arrest of Kyle Wagner, a self-identified Antifa member, who faces federal charges related to threats and cyberstalking against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
Wagner, a 37-year-old from Minnesota, is accused of recording videos and posting comments on social media in January, where he encouraged his followers to confront federal agents, whom he referred to as “murderers” and compared to the “Gestapo.”
“This man allegedly doxxed and called for the murder of law enforcement officers, encouraged bloodshed in the streets, and proudly claimed affiliation with the terrorist organization Antifa before going on the run,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi. “Today’s arrest illustrates that you cannot run, you cannot hide, and you cannot evade our federal agents: if you come for law enforcement, the Trump Administration will come for you.”
In a now-removed video from January 8, a day after an ICE agent shot a woman named Renee Good during a confrontation, Wagner ominously warned, “We’re f***ing coming for you.”
“Anywhere we have an opportunity to get our hands on them, we need to put our hands on them,” he stated. “We will identify every single one of them and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law,” he added, suggesting a willingness to resort to violence.
The DOJ noted that Wagner also called for others to “hunt” ICE agents and urged those who were armed to take action.
“This is kill or be killed,” he told his followers.
<pOn January 10, Wagner declared, “we are at f***ing war,” expressing that either they would win or he would die trying. Three days later, he proclaimed that “this is where ICE has come to die,” commending efforts against deportation.
In another video posted on Instagram, Wagner introduced himself as an Antifa member and urged followers to prepare for action, going so far as to advocate for armed confrontation.
“Not talking about peaceful protests anymore. This is everything I have f***ing talked about,” Wagner said, alluding to potential violent actions against federal agents.
“It’s no surprise that an Antifa terrorist is allegedly threatening to kill and assault federal law enforcement officers,” said Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. “After all, this is what Antifa is about, lawlessness and violence.”
“We know that a ‘worthless man plots evil,’” commented U.S. Attorney Jerome Gorgon. “Wagner’s alleged actions were an attempt to spread fire into our peaceful community. That is not going to happen.”
Wagner was apprehended early Thursday morning while wearing a shirt that read, “I’m Antifa!” as part of an operation targeting violence against law enforcement.
The complaint against him notes that he published personal information of a pro-ICE individual and even confessed to doxxing the individual’s parents.
Wagner’s case will be investigated by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents.
