Daughter of woman allegedly 'murdered' by Jill Biden's former partner delivers sharp message

Allegations of Murder and Family Grief

WILMINGTON, Del. — After the arrest of Jill Biden’s ex-husband for the alleged murder of his current wife, the victim’s daughter has spoken out. Christine Vettori took to Facebook on Wednesday to express her outrage and insist that justice will prevail for her mother.

“He killed my mother, and justice will be served,” she wrote, referring to William “Bill” Stevenson, who was married to Jill Biden in the 1970s.

She added, “He’s going to need all the prayers he can get from prison.” This remark was made in response to a friend’s comment about Stevenson’s case being “very sad” and that he was “innocent until proven guilty.”

Stevenson, 77, was taken into custody on Monday after being implicated in the death of his wife, Linda Stevenson, 64. He is currently being held on a $500,000 bail.

The arrest followed a domestic violence call to Stevenson’s home on December 28, during which authorities discovered Linda unresponsive in the living room. The cause of her death remains undisclosed.

On a separate note, Jill Biden, who divorced Bill in 1975 after five years of marriage, was seen attending a spin class in Pennsylvania on Friday, marking her first public appearance since the arrest. As of now, she has not offered any comment regarding the situation, and her publicist, along with former President Joe Biden, has also remained silent.

Vettori, age 45, shared on Facebook that he was incredibly close to his mother and is struggling with deep grief over her passing. “The pain of losing her is numbing, and the emptiness in my heart is profound,” he wrote. “Most days I can barely breathe.”

Adding a complicated twist to this narrative, Bill has previously alleged that Jill had an affair with Joe Biden, claiming she introduced them back in 1972 during Joe’s initial Senate campaign. However, the Bidens maintain they first met on a blind date in 1975, shortly after Joe lost his first wife and daughter in a tragic accident, and after Jill finalized her divorce from Bill.
