Utah Becomes Another State Providing PragerU Educational Resources, Offers High School Credit

Utah has become another state to incorporate PragerU educational resources, as the state’s Board of Education recently approved a new online finance course, the conservative organization announced on Wednesday.

“We’re excited to support Utah families and educators looking to add our financial literacy resources into their classrooms,” said Jill Simonian, director of outreach for PragerU and co-founder of PragerU Kids, in a statement.

“We’re thankful that by making all PragerU Kids materials available online, we can ensure transparency regarding our educational resources. This helps strengthen the connection between parents and teachers, fostering meaningful educational partnerships,” Simonian elaborated.

The Outreach Director mentioned, “Bringing financial literacy to Utah schools will greatly benefit students and families. Parents are eager to return to fundamental teachings, imparting practical skills that will serve students throughout their lives.”

“Teaching students about money and responsible management is essential for developing informed citizens and fostering stability in society,” Simonian stated. “Financial literacy serves as a universal educational standard that benefits everyone.”

The free, optional educational materials from PragerU Kids now include 68 financial education modules available in classrooms throughout Utah, as announced in a press release.

This curriculum emphasizes practical financial principles such as budgeting, saving, entrepreneurship, and personal responsibility—topics that many parents feel are lacking or insufficiently covered in current educational settings.

The approved module includes content from several PragerU Kids series, featuring a cash course, how-to videos, and The Hustle.

Moreover, students who score 80% or above on all modules will have the opportunity to earn half of their high school credits towards meeting Utah’s graduation requirements.

Beyond educating students, PragerU Kids materials are also designed to enhance transparency and parental involvement in K-12 education, according to the organization.

“Parents seek greater insight into what their children are learning, and students need broader opportunities to gain practical skills, especially financial literacy,” said PragerU CEO Marissa Streit.

“We’re delighted to collaborate with educators and families in Utah to provide accessible, transparent, and engaging resources that prepare students for successful and meaningful lives,” Streit added.

Utah parents and teachers can visit PragerU’s website to learn more about the educational resources the organization offers.
