Arrest of Left-Winger in Minnesota for Threatening ICE Officers

Federal authorities arrested a self-identified Antifa member in Minnesota, suspected of making death threats against officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), on Thursday.

The individual, identified as Kyle Wagner, 37, of Minneapolis, reportedly maintained an Instagram account urging followers to confront and attack ICE agents. In a post from January 8, 2026, Wagner addressed ICE personnel, saying, “We are coming for you,” and allegedly encouraged his followers to “get their guns,” suggesting targeting federal employees—even if it required involvement of firearms.

Upon his arrest, he was wearing a hoodie that boldly proclaimed “I am Antifa!”

The U.S. Department of Justice confirmed Wagner’s arrest in a news release, detailing charges that included threats and cyberstalking against federal authorities.

Officials noted that Wagner referred to federal agents as “Gestapo” and “murderers.” His apprehension coincides with the Trump administration’s efforts to remove criminal undocumented immigrants from communities, which has prompted protests and riots from the left.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi commented on the situation, stating that before fleeing, Wagner had called for the killing of law enforcement officials and incited violence on the streets while expressing pride in his affiliation with Antifa. She emphasized that such actions would not be tolerated and that law enforcement would pursue those who threaten public safety.

Additionally, journalist Andy Ngo reported earlier in January that Wagner had been a “cross-dressing activist.” U.S. Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon echoed sentiments from Proverbs 16:27, remarking on the destructive intentions behind Wagner’s actions, asserting that such behavior would not be allowed to propagate in their communities.
