Controversial Influencer Arrested for Using Fake ID

A young influencer known online as Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, was arrested for allegedly using a fake ID to enter an Arizona nightclub and for possession of prescription drugs.

Peters, just 20 years old, was at Casa Amigos nightclub in Scottsdale on a Saturday night when police discovered he was underage. A spokesperson from the Scottsdale Police Department confirmed the incident.

According to reports, the influencer, who has a significant following of over 700,000 on TikTok, entered the club shortly before 11:20 p.m. accompanied by a photographer and a bodyguard.

Police collaborated with nightclub security to escort Peters out of the venue. Once in custody, officers allegedly found him with a fake ID and two prescription pills. It was noted that Peters had been employed at the nightclub and intended to engage in promotional activities there.

The influencer, known for his focus on physical appearance, was initially taken to the Scottsdale City Jail and later transferred to the Maricopa County Jail.

Authorities have recommended charges against Peters for possessing dangerous drugs and using a forged ID to enter a liquor establishment as a minor. However, the final decision on formal charges will rest with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

As of now, there has been no response from the Attorney’s Office regarding the case.

Peters faced a judge early Sunday and later shared a video on Instagram, showing him walking in the same outfit as in his mug shot while carrying various items. In a post to X, he expressed frustration, claiming that being granted $25,000 bail alongside two felonies for simply entering a bar was ridiculous, labeling it “political persecution.”

Court records detailing the bail amounts have not been made publicly available yet.

Known for his extreme views on supplements and body image, Peters has stirred controversy in the past. Recently, he was seen loudly singing an inflammatory song on his way to a Miami club with other controversial figures.

In December, an incident where he allegedly ran over a man with his armored vehicle went viral, alongside claims of violent altercations that involved a hammer.
