Trump Critiques Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

President Trump expressed his disapproval of Bad Bunny’s halftime performance at Super Bowl LX, labeling it “an insult to the greatness of America.”

On Truth Social, he shared his thoughts about the show, which was entirely performed in Spanish. “The halftime show was absolutely awful, one of the worst ever! It makes no sense and is an insult to American greatness,” he stated. He further remarked that it doesn’t embody the country’s standards of success, creativity, and excellence.

“No one can understand what he’s saying. That dance? It’s quite disturbing, especially for young viewers across America and beyond,” he added.

Trump categorized the performance as a “slap in the face” to the US, and anticipated that mainstream media would commend the show.

This “show” is merely a slap to our country, which is achieving new standards every day, including record high stock markets. There’s nothing motivating about this chaotic display, yet the fake news media will sing its praises. They seem detached from reality. And the NFL should really rethink that absurd new kickoff rule.

As Trump predicted, some media outlets celebrated the performance. A political handbook emphasized, “How Bad Bunny Won the Super Bowl,” calling it “a raucous and heartfelt celebration of Latino culture with a powerful message of unity at its core.”

According to Breitbart News, Bad Bunny concluded his performance with a political statement against anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) rhetoric.

Before leaving the field, he held a football displaying the message “Together We Are America.” This statement aligns with his recent political engagement and pro-immigration sentiments.

In response, Turning Point USA provided an alternative All-American Halftime Show featuring artists like Brantley Gilbert, Gabby Barrett, Lee Brice, and Kid Rock.
