Upcoming Finale of Tell Me Rise Promises Intrigue
The emotional ride that is Tell Me Rise continues to engage fans since its debut in 2022, but the Season 3 finale, set to air soon, hangs in the air like a tense cloud.
In the latest episode, the series directed by Meghan Oppenheimer presents a blend of emotions—from a hopeful exchange between Lucy (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (Jackson White) to Pippa’s (Sonia Mena) double breakup. Evan’s (Branden Cook) betrayal adds to the tension, alongside an unsettling chat between Lucy and Tegan (Bianca Nugara), and a cliffhanger with Bree (Missal Cat). So, what dramatic twists await viewers in Episode 8?
The finale, intriguingly titled “Are You Happy Now, That I’m on My Knees?”, is set to air on Hulu on February 17th at 12am ET. To keep the excitement buzzing, DECIDER spoke with the creators and cast about what lies ahead.
“This finale is definitely more shocking than any we’ve done before,” Oppenheimer hinted in a Zoom call. “We really aimed to surprise the audience, and there are definitely some unexpected moments,” she added, leaving fans speculating.
White described the upcoming episode as full of “chaos, explosive chaos,” while Van Patten playfully suggested a new term: “Chakeos,” a mash-up of chaos and cake. It seems fitting given the events that unfold.
Alicia Crowder termed the finale as “messy,” while Mena teased with a scream. D’Angelo warned of an impending “explosion,” implying that viewers should brace themselves. Misal promised a surprise element that ties back to the theme of chaos.
If you need a reminder, here’s the brief synopsis for Season 3, Episode 8: “A scandal erupts at Baird College. When a shocking truth comes to light, the consequences follow for everyone.” Sounds intense, right?
Previously, after Stephen handed a tape to Lucy, she ran into Tegan and warned him to steer clear. However, Lucy didn’t recall a warm prior conversation, leading her to feel trapped in an “endless psychotic state.” It’s clear that the weight of secrets and deception is taking a toll on her.
Could it be that Lucy never truly received the tape? Was Tegan truthful about having a copy? Questions loom large—especially considering Episode 7 ended with Bree discovering a photo of Evan and Lucy together in Hawaii, leaving viewers curious about Bree’s next move. Not to mention the complications brewing in 2015 concerning Bree and Wrigley’s relationship, now known to Stephen.
“Stephen won’t let the situation fester; he’ll aim to cause as much upheaval as possible,” Oppenheimer remarked about the fallout at the wedding reception.
Get ready, Tell Me Rise fans! An extraordinary finale is on the horizon. Stay tuned for further coverage and tips on how to watch Episode 8 as soon as it drops.
