I’m not a trained photographer or anything—just someone who loves snapping pictures. Usually, my peak moments come when I’m endlessly photographing my adorable mini sheepadoodle and sharing the results on social media. I’ve tried some editing tools, but honestly, they often feel as complicated as flying a rocket ship. And just to clarify, I can’t do that either.

My Review
As someone who isn’t deeply versed in photography, I find many technical aspects complex. Traditional software usually requires years of practice with layers and frequency separation. With Evoto, though, achieving a polished look is as simple as using a slider.
To install it on your device, ensure you have at least 8GB of RAM (16GB or more is recommended), Windows 10/11 (64-bit), or macOS 10.13 or later.
Download directly from the Evoto website, create a project, and drag in your RAW or JPEG files. The sidebar features various “magic sliders” labeled with their functions.
Once I uploaded my photos, the AI culling phase sped everything up significantly. Instead of spending ages going through similar images to find the good ones—especially when my dogs seem to always blink—I let the AI do the work. It took about 10 minutes to filter through thousands of photos, discarding the ones that didn’t make the cut.
Retouching was a blast. If you’re familiar with leather items, you know wrinkled material can be hard to fix. But when I discovered the clothing adjustment feature, I was hooked. Polishing up my leather jacket with that ‘Remove Clothing Scratches’ option was straightforward and didn’t compromise quality either. I even used the hair color tool to see what I’d look like with pink hair. Great fun for deciding on a look before heading to the salon!
Clouded with comparison, Evoto is more user-friendly than Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Some users argue that Lightroom excels at organizing massive photo collections, but for quick and easy retouching, Evoto takes the cake.
Is It Worth It? The Verdict Is Out
If you’re a professional, Evoto can enhance your productivity, allowing you to deliver quicker and ultimately save both time and money. Freelancers love the ability to provide same-day edits thanks to the Instant feature. Even if you’re a casual user, just the satisfaction of fixing imperfect photos with a single slider makes the download worthwhile. It transforms the tedious parts of a photo shoot into a more manageable task.
Test Method
I tested Evoto 6.2 on a 2026 desktop by processing high-resolution photos of pets and fashion portraits. The focus was primarily on the speed of AI culling and adjustment tools for enhancing images.
