Ways to watch Eileen Gu compete in the 2026 Olympics big air without cost

Freeskiing athlete Irene Gu is gearing up to hit the slopes again this afternoon, hoping to secure yet another medal at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.

Last week, Gu claimed a silver in the freeski slopestyle event and also qualified for the big air competition.

For context, slopestyle involves a full run where skiers execute various tricks and flip over rails, while big air focuses on one major jump with a single trick. Competitors have three attempts at their tricks, and the best two scores are combined. The top three scores earn a spot on the podium.

In the qualifying round for big air on February 14, Gu stumbled during her second attempt but managed to bounce back with a solid third run, finishing with a score of 170.75 points. This placed her second overall, meaning she’ll be one of the final skiers to compete today.

The finals for the Women’s Big Air competition will commence on February 16 at 1:30 PM ET.
