Jesse James Decker’s Focus on Health and Fitness
Country music artist Jesse James Decker is making significant strides in her health and fitness journey this year, alongside her family. Decker, who is married to former NFL player Eric Decker, recently gained attention after sharing an Instagram video of herself performing squats with a barbell. The video was accompanied by a caption that excitedly proclaimed, “Energy of 2026! LFG💪.”
This clip has garnered over 111,000 likes and promotes the idea of aiming for a “marriage body” rather than a “revenge body.” Decker questions why we shouldn’t nurture the passion for those who have always chosen us instead of succumbing to societal pressures.
The post also received positive reactions from fellow celebrities and influencers, with actress and wellness advocate Daniela Monet expressing her support for Decker’s mindset.
In a chat with Fox News Digital, Decker shared some of the key health practices that contribute to her physical and mental well-being. One of her top tips? Hydration. “Water, water, water,” she emphasizes. She keeps water by her bedside and often drinks throughout the night.
“My mom’s a big believer in it, too. She walks daily and drinks a lot of water, and honestly, she seems to get younger,” Decker noted lightheartedly. “We joke that we’re like Benjamin Buttons.” This familial wisdom appears to reflect positively in Decker’s own approach to health.
Aside from hydration, Decker maintains a focus on healthy eating. “We mostly cook at home, so we don’t eat out much,” she explains. “I prefer making meals from scratch, knowing exactly what goes into my body.”
She wrapped up her advice succinctly: “Just stay home, drink water, cook, and stay active. It’s really that simple.” This philosophy extends to her four children, who engage in sports and outdoor activities daily.
Decker mentions, “Vivi is a gymnast who trains five days a week, and little Eric is always playing sports. They’re active. They’re not glued to iPads; they’re out discovering the world.” This active lifestyle seems to be a family affair, especially during vacations.
“When we vacation, we stay busy together—cycling, playing soccer, or tossing a ball on the beach,” she shared. One sport that stands out in their family routine is pickleball. “We love it! We even have a court in our backyard. When traveling, my husband always checks if there’s a court nearby,” Decker added with a hint of pride.
