Sasha, the youngest daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama, makes a rare appearance with her parents at a basketball game.

Obama Family Enjoys NBA All-Star Weekend

Barack and Michelle Obama had a fun night out with their daughter Sasha during the NBA All-Star Weekend.

According to their Instagram post, which was shared on Sunday, the couple and their children, except for eldest daughter Malia, 27, sat courtside at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on February 15.

Michelle, 62, wore a black jacket and dark blue pants, sitting next to her husband, who opted for a dark blue jacket over a black T-shirt and gray jeans.

Sasha, 24, was seen sitting behind her parents, dressed in gray to match her dad.

In the caption of one of the photos, Barack and Michelle referred to their daughters as their “favorite teammates on and off the court.”

Another snapshot captured the couple posing with NBA star Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha. The Obama daughters generally keep a low profile, making only occasional public appearances.

Michelle, however, does share more insights into their lives through her podcast called IMO, which she co-hosts with her brother Craig Robinson.

In August, she talked about Barack’s parenting challenges with Sasha, saying he finds her a bit “more difficult” than their other daughter. She reflected on how Malia was different as a teenager, mentioning that Malia would take time to see their dad even when she had plans.

Your thoughts on kids can vary widely, and Michelle noted that while Malia was more reserved, Sasha’s personality is quite different. “She’s like, ‘Don’t touch me, don’t pet me,’” Michelle recalled. Barack calls her “difficult,” noting Sasha isn’t a “people pleaser” like Malia.
