Podcaster criticizes Rubio, claims MAGA brings together various groups for 'White nationalism'

Outrage Over Rubio’s Remarks at Munich Security Conference

Jennifer Welch, a host of the podcast “I’ve Had It,” expressed her anger on Tuesday regarding Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s speech in Europe, where she suggested that the MAGA movement represents a multiracial coalition tied to white nationalism.

Rubio made headlines following his remarks at the Munich Security Conference, emphasizing the importance of having European allies who take pride in their cultural identity as part of a shared society and, by extension, western civilization.

He stated, “We seek allies who are proud of their culture and traditions and who understand that we are heirs of the same great and noble civilization.”

On the podcast, Welch commented on Rubio’s identity, saying, “What’s fascinating about the MAGA regime is that they’re all white supremacists that also include brown-skinned individuals, even Latin Americans. Marco Rubio, addressing the Munich conference, embodies that contradiction; he’s Cuban.”

Later, a video was presented showing Rubio speaking with Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, where he expressed confidence in President Trump’s dedication to their success, calling the relationship with Central Europe crucial to American interests moving forward.

Welch also noted that while smaller European nations have rich cultures, America’s uniqueness lies in its multicultural environment. She critiqued white Americans who fear cultural decline as being hypocritical, highlighting their dependence on multiculturalism for entertainment.

She posed a thought-provoking question: “Are you the type of person who sees fellow Americans from diverse backgrounds as equals or something less?”

Welch, who grew up in Oklahoma, has previously remarked that white culture often feels “boring,” sharing her perspective that a lack of diversity makes life less interesting. At a recent event for New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani, she remarked, “If we were all white people now, it would be very boring.” Reflecting on her background, she acknowledged the homogeneity she experienced.

She concluded by asserting the value of diversity, stating, “Everyone needs spice and color in their lives. Life is so much better that way. After all, the essence of America is its multiculturalism.”
