The world’s wealthiest individual recently opened up about his spiritual journey on social media, catching the attention of many Christian commentators.
On Tuesday afternoon, Elon Musk made an unexpected statement, referring to “evangelizing” himself.
“I align with the teachings of Jesus,” Musk said.
A post read, “Someone should share the gospel with Elon Musk. Who will guide him to Christ?”
His reply sparked significantly more interest than the initial post, garnering nearly 4 million views by Wednesday morning.
In a related note, it was mentioned that a large mural in memory of Irina Zalutka was created in downtown Las Vegas, funded by Musk.
He reiterated, “I align with the teachings of Jesus,” which prompted many Christian politicians and commentators to encourage him to further his faith journey.
Jason Whitlock, a host on Blaze TV, commented, “Thank you for sharing that. This is just the start.”
Michael Knowles from the Daily Wire remarked, “That’s always good to hear. But if one of the major teachings of Jesus is that He is God, what does that signify for us?”
Another prominent account added support, emphasizing that this represents a faith challenge that many who agree with Jesus’ teachings might struggle to accept. It’s a significant philosophical step.
Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) offered Musk support, stating, “He’s alive. I have faith in him. He will make amends.”
Nancy Mace, R.S.C., remarked, “We’re all children of the King,” encouraging Musk as well.
Joseph Massey, a poet and contributor to Frontier magazine, mentioned, “Consensus is just a step away from faith, followed by true belief.”
The person who initially posted, known as “Art of Purpose,” captured many reactions succinctly with his comment, “Brother, you’re almost there. I’m rooting for you.”
This was not the first time Musk alluded to accepting Christ’s teachings. During a July 2024 interview with Jordan Peterson, he described himself as a “cultured Christian,” asserting that “Jesus’ teachings are good and wise.”
