Illinois Democrat running for US Senate shares video of individuals expressing 'F--- Trump'

Illinois Lieutenant Governor’s Campaign Video Shows Strong Anti-Trump Sentiment

Juliana Stratton, the Lieutenant Governor of Illinois and a candidate in the Democratic primary for the state’s Senate seat, recently shared a campaign video featuring several individuals expressing their disdain for former President Donald Trump. The clip prominently includes repeated phrases like “Fuck Trump,” with Stratton captioning her post with, “They said so. We all think so.”

The video initiates with three people urging, “Mr. Trump, please vote for Julianna.” Following this, Stratton introduces herself, asserting her South Side Chicago roots and her intent to stand against “wannabe dictators.” She boldly declares her candidacy as a challenge to Trump’s influence.

“We will abolish ICE and hold President Trump accountable for any wrongdoing,” she emphasizes, referencing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, before again reinforcing the sentiment against Trump with, “That’s what they said,” followed by more voices echoing, “F— Trump.”

Among the supporters appearing in the video is Senator Tammy Duckworth, who has voiced support for Stratton. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, who is backing Stratton in this campaign, also features in the video, encouraging viewers to “Vote for Julianna.”

The White House has yet to provide any comments regarding this campaign video.

Notably, Senator Dick Durbin from Illinois announced previously that he would not pursue reelection in 2026, leaving the Senate seat open for candidates like Stratton.

Alongside Stratton, U.S. Representatives Raja Krishnamoorthi and Robin Kelly are also competing in the Illinois Senate Democratic primary.
