Viral Fitness Video Featuring Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Kid Rock
A fitness video featuring Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and musician Kid Rock has gained widespread attention, with both participants emphasizing its aim to motivate Americans toward healthier lifestyles.
“We definitely wanted this to go viral,” Kid Rock stated, reflecting on the release. He mentioned filming it recently, aiming to share it with his fans who could benefit from its message, especially after the challenges many faced in the past few years.
Kennedy echoed this sentiment during an appearance on “One Nation with Brian Kilmeade.” He explained that the video aligns with the “Make America Healthy Again” initiative, which seeks to promote fitness and improve dietary habits among Americans.
“We met about ten years ago,” Kennedy shared. He noted that Kid Rock has recently made changes to his lifestyle, focusing on better nutrition and exercise, inviting Kennedy to review his training regimen.
The two spent time working out and discussing a necessary cultural shift that could inspire Americans to be more active and to reduce their consumption of ultra-processed foods. Kennedy criticized the American diet, asserting that about “70% of the food we eat is ultra-processed,” labeling many supermarket items as “food-like substances.”
“This isn’t really food. It’s just poison,” Kennedy remarked, indicating that the government is working on improvements to public health, which include changes to school meals and enhancing meal quality for military personnel.
Kid Rock expressed optimism that the video’s message would resonate with individuals across the political spectrum. “If there’s one thing we can all unite on in this country, it should be food and health,” he said, suggesting that perhaps, politics might be set aside when it comes to such essential topics.
