Kelly Osbourne responds to critics regarding her look at the London Fashion Week event

Kelly Osbourne isn’t holding back when it comes to negative remarks about her looks. The 41-year-old recently posted several photos on social media from a London Fashion Week event, specifically the 2026 Royal Ascot Millinery Collective presentation.

While a lot of fans complimented her elegant purple dress, which had sheer sleeves and sequins, some comments took a more hurtful direction. Osbourne expressed her disbelief at the nasty remarks, sharing a screenshot that included one comment stating, “She looks like a corpse… she’s so thin… looks like she’s going to see her dad soon.” Another user suggested she “Ditch the Ozempic and eat a burger.”

A few fans came to her defense, pointing out the inappropriateness of such comments, especially given that Osbourne is grieving her father’s recent passing. One follower remarked, “How would you feel if you were grieving and all people could comment on was your weight? It’s disgusting!”

In another Instagram Story, Osbourne reflected on the situation, saying, “This too shall pass, but oh well.” During an appearance on a talk show, her mother, Sharon, stood up for her, mentioning how difficult things have been since Ozzy Osbourne’s death on July 22 at the age of 76.

Sharon shared that Kelly is struggling with her emotions, stating, “She’s not happy. She lost her father. She can’t eat now.” She also noted that the internet often serves as a shield for those with jealousy and negativity in their lives.

Kelly has previously discussed the scrutiny she’s faced over the years regarding her appearance. She shared how, starting from a young age, she was labeled as “Ozzy’s chubby girl” and faced constant body shaming. However, she emphasized her acceptance of herself, noting, “I’m happy with myself and who I am, but other people aren’t and that’s their fault.”
