Taylor Swift recently shared a glimpse into her life on Instagram, celebrating the success of her new single “Opalite.” She posted behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the song’s music video, showcasing some rare moments without makeup.
“I want to take a moment to celebrate the memories of Opalite,” she expressed, noting her gratitude for the overwhelming love and support for both the song and the video.
In one clip, Swift sings, “You had to make your own sunshine,” while flaunting her naturally curly hair in a voluminous style. She wore a green sweater from The Row, although the price tag raises some eyebrows.
Enhancing her look, she accessorized with a stunning rose-gold ring from Piaget.
To connect with her fans, she included a few makeup-free clips from the recording sessions, where her appearance was different from her usual glam. She mentioned, “I’ve never felt that way about myself in my life,” regarding her nostalgia for ‘90s fashion.
In another studio shot, she sported a cozy dark green sweater paired with a charming gold necklace that had a vintage heart charm. It’s a noticeable departure from her classic look, which typically includes a bold red lip and sleek hair.
Later in the post, Swift showcased a simple outfit against a sparkling backdrop—a black turtleneck and gray pants, along with a casual 1990s-inspired ensemble featuring mom jeans and a denim vest. Her lighthearted comment about truly discovering her identity in that look was humorous: “This is actually who I am meant to be.”
Wrapping up her celebration, she donned a Ralph Lauren Olympic Edition sweater while toasting with a fancy champagne flute. Although her navy version is sold out, the white summer sweater remains available.
In addition to sharing personal moments, Swift reflected on her musical achievements, notably that a track from her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, recently hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. “To put this in perspective,” she pointed out, “it’s been nearly 12 years since my album ‘1989’ released in 2014 that I’ve had two Hot 100 #1s from one album!” She ended her message with appreciation for fans who embraced her music.
