Diplo’s Caribbean Getaway for a Cause

Diplo is offering fans an exciting opportunity to spend a week at his stunning mansion in the Caribbean. The renowned DJ, at 47 years old, is auctioning a five-night stay at Pompey’s Hideout, nestled in the serene hills of Jamaica.

This initiative aims to raise funds for Jamaica in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa and to assist those affected by wildfires in Los Angeles. Musicians initially established Pompey as a haven for creative spirits.

The winner, along with 11 friends, will have complete access to the mansion’s eight bedrooms, enjoy a private chef, and benefit from an on-site concierge. The mansion also features a gym, spa, recording studio, and a private beach.

Guests can partake in various activities off the property, such as sailing on a charter boat, hiking to hidden waterfalls, relaxing on the beach, swimming in nearby rivers, or embarking on guided tours to coastal areas and local towns.

Diplo shared, “Jamaica has been a focal point for me. I’ve been visiting for over two decades, and it’s where much of my journey, as well as Major Lazer’s, began.”

This unique experience will be auctioned during the Get Up Stand Up Los Angeles event on February 26th, where a $1,000 ticket fee will go towards aiding victims of Hurricane Melissa and the wildfires in Los Angeles.

Notable personalities like Winnie Harlow, Jodie Turner-Smith, Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, and Sean Penn are expected to join in supporting the Community Organization Relief (CORE).

The evening will also feature live performances by Troy Baker Sound, g33zy, and Zuri Marley.

Diplo’s connection to Jamaica runs deep, driving his commitment to this cause. He stated, “The culture, the people, the music—they have all influenced who I am.” He recounted a trip to Jamaica earlier this year with CORE to deliver essentials to families impacted by Hurricane Melissa, saying, “What I witnessed left a lasting impression.”

“The community is working hard to rebuild, and they still need support. Raising funds for CORE allows me to give back to a place that has given me so much.”

The relationship between DJs and Jamaica is significant. He collaborated with CORE and Winnie Harlow on relief efforts following the October hurricanes.

Known as Wesley Pentz, Diplo created Pompeii to be a sanctuary for artists to come together, draw inspiration, and appreciate nature’s beauty.
