Kamala Harris Hints at Potential 2028 Presidential Run

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has suggested she “might” consider running for president again in 2028, as shared in a video that’s making the rounds on social media.

In interviews released on Monday, while promoting her recent memoir “107 Days,” Harris was asked by Sharon McMahon if she would enter the race following a loss to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

“I haven’t decided yet,” Harris responded.

When pressed further, McMahon inquired, “Are you still thinking about it?” to which Harris replied, “Maybe.”

McMahon noted that he gathered from Harris’ memoir—a reflection on her previous campaign—that she seemed “hopeful” regarding a future run. However, Harris clarified that the book’s intent was not to signal her plans for another presidential bid.

“No, this book is about a specific time period. There wasn’t an agenda beyond what we’ve already talked about,” she explained. “It’s just about sharing the reality of the experience with people, and hopefully allowing people to see something of themselves in it.”

Additionally, Fox News Digital reached out to Harris’ office but has yet to receive a comment. While she hasn’t made a definitive announcement regarding 2028, her comments during book promotions indicate she may be considering it.

It’s worth noting that some Democratic senators appear cautious about the prospect of Harris launching another presidential campaign. In late October, when asked if she would contemplate running again, Harris responded somewhat ambiguously, stating, “Maybe, maybe not.” A few weeks earlier, she also mentioned to the BBC that she “might” run, though no firm decision had been made.

“It’s not over yet,” Harris declared. “I’ve lived my entire career as a life of service, and it’s in my bones.” While her intentions remain unclear, the dialogue certainly suggests that she hasn’t ruled out the possibility.
