Khanna Invites Epstein Survivor to State of the Union
Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat from California, has brought along a guest to the State of the Union—Haley Robson, who began assisting in introducing underage girls to Jeffrey Epstein at just 16. This situation mirrors Epstein’s own victimization as a minor by problematic financiers in the early 2000s.
According to police records from 2006, Robson claimed that Epstein pressured her to engage in sexual activities with six other underage girls after they met in 2003. Initially hesitant to comply with his requests, she stated that Epstein told her to seek out other girls. Robson reported receiving $200 for every girl she brought to Epstein’s mansion, even likening herself to Heidi Fleiss, the famous American madam known for operating a Hollywood prostitution ring.
Robson’s narrative sheds light on her connection with Epstein, as featured in a Netflix documentary series. She revealed that it took her over two years to break free from his hold. “I recruited a girl who was a friend of mine. I casually brought it up, and we drove to his house. I took her to his room and then left. Sometimes we waited by the pool. When the girls left, Jeffrey came out and paid the money. We probably recruited around 24 girls, and they, in turn, brought in more—essentially all underage,” she stated in an interview.
Robson expressed overwhelming guilt for her actions over the years.
When asked about the choice to have Robson as his guest, Khanna’s office stated, “Haley Robson was 16 when she survived Epstein’s abuse. The campaign to attack her and other survivors on the night of the State of the Union is disgraceful. Critique me if you wish, but leave the survivors alone.” He added, “I am honored to have [her] here. Their bravery impacted the nation.”
Robson was not available for comment following this exchange.
Democratic members of Congress plan to invite Epstein’s victims as special guests at the State of the Union, aiming to pressure President Donald Trump by highlighting public dissatisfaction and continuing a political narrative that has evolved through recent speeches.
A recent poll indicates that half of the populace is unhappy with how the government has managed the Epstein case. Another survey suggested that 75% of respondents believe the government is still concealing aspects of Epstein’s actions.
Many Democrats, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, are eager to see accountability. Schumer stated, “I’m proud to have Dani Bensky, a survivor of Epstein’s abuse, as my guest today to demand the truth. Survivors deserve justice, and Trump must unveil all of Epstein’s files now.”
Other Democratic leaders, like Rep. Robert Garcia from California, have also invited Epstein victims in their efforts to maintain pressure for transparency and justice. Garcia mentioned Annie Farmer, a brave survivor, as his guest to remind the president of the need to release all pertinent documents.
The controversy surrounding Epstein continues to create political ramifications, with Khanna emphasizing the importance of ongoing investigations and potential prosecutions. While Epstein died in prison in 2019 amid sex trafficking charges, questions linger about the extent of the network involved in his crimes.
Khanna pointed out: “In the UK, Prince Andrew is under investigation. In Norway, a former prime minister faces charges. It’s high time for the Department of Justice to conduct a thorough investigation and subsequently, prosecution.”
