A former military veteran and teacher, known as “Major Hands,” is facing federal charges after allegedly transforming his home in upstate New York into a brothel and hosting lively “prostitution parties.”
According to federal authorities, Eric Simpson, 66, who taught technology in the North Rose Wolcott Central School District, is accused of functioning as a pimp and “regularly promoting, managing, and conducting prostitution parties” at his residence in Macedonia from 2021 to late 2025.
The indictment released on March 10 asserts that the ex-New York National Guard member “arranged for commercial sex workers to engage in sexual acts with Simpson and his guests.”
Federal prosecutors in the Western District of New York allege that Simpson employed his email to advertise explicit events, even sharing a list of sex workers who would be present.
The emails reportedly encouraged attendees to discuss payment, referred to as “contributions for services,” with the “dancers” mentioned in the indictment.
Simpson allegedly established “admission fees” for these events, controlled the rooms and “accommodations” offered to clients, and even guided car parking away from his home, according to court documents.
Before these allegations arose, Simpson, known as “Major,” dedicated 29 years as a security guard, serving in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and concluded his military career in 2010 in Rochester and Troy, New York, as stated on LinkedIn.
His career included stints as a substitute English teacher in Monroe County Public Schools and later as a technology teacher in the North Rose Wolcott Central School District, although he resigned from this position in January.
Simpson has been charged with one count of using an interstate facility to promote a prostitution enterprise. He was arraigned on Wednesday and entered a not guilty plea.
