Tiger Woods Returns to Golf in TGL Finals
Tiger Woods made his comeback to golf on Tuesday night, participating in the TGL Finals, while his girlfriend Vanessa Trump and her daughter Kai cheered him on from the front row at the SoFi Center.
Woods played for the Jupiter Links team alongside golfers Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner, but unfortunately, they lost to the Los Angeles Golf Club, which included Collin Morikawa, Saheeth Theegala, Justin Rose, and Tommy Fleetwood. The LAGC team fired off three consecutive eagles, ultimately winning the match 9-2. This marked Woods’ first competition in over a year.
Woods and Vanessa’s relationship has generally been low-key. When Woods’ company went public last year, he requested some privacy in their personal lives. Earlier this month, both Vanessa and Kai had attended several TGL events, including Woods’ Genesis Invitational at Riviera. At one of those matches, Kai even had a chat with football star Travis Kelce.
There were rumors back in July about the seriousness of Woods and Vanessa’s relationship, hinting at potential wedding bells, though nothing official has emerged yet. Woods confirmed his relationship with Vanessa, who is the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., on March 23, 2025. In a heartfelt post, he expressed, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” He also mentioned that they would appreciate respect for their privacy during this time.
Woods’ son Charlie and Vanessa’s daughter Kai are both showing promise as competitive golfers, with Kai committed to the University of Miami, while Charlie will head to Florida State University.
The golf star has faced various ups and downs in his personal life over the years, including a high-profile divorce from Elin Nordegren and a series of relationships since then. Woods has maintained a good co-parenting relationship with Nordegren for the sake of their kids, Charlie and Sam.
Woods is pushing towards participating in the upcoming Masters, a prestigious tournament that he has won five times, leaving fans eagerly anticipating his return to the sport.
