Jillian Michaels Criticizes Democrats for Creating Confusion Through Scare Tactics About ICE at Airports

Jillian Michaels Critiques Democrats Over ICE Deployment Comments

Fitness personality Jillian Michaels has taken issue with comments made by Democrats regarding President Donald Trump’s decision to deploy Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to airports. This critique came during an episode of her podcast, “Actually Friends.”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries stated on CNN’s “State of the Union” recently that life has grown “more chaotic” and “extreme” since the Republican takeover. He raised concerns that ICE could harm Americans at airports. In response, Michaels described Jeffries’ remarks as outrageous, arguing they serve to create more chaos.

“You know, what really frustrated me was when he said ‘life has gotten more chaotic and more extreme,'” Michaels remarked. “Isn’t that extreme itself? Don’t you think things might get a little messy?”

She further asserted that the chaos is largely driven by Democrats. “All this chaos is being created by them… It’s very upsetting,” she added. “People are dying because of it, and you’re contributing to this huge powder keg.” Michaels suggested that the rhetoric from Democrats may have influenced the tragic shootings of Alex Preti and Renee Good by Department of Homeland Security officers earlier this year, asserting that they were “fighting the Gestapo.”

The Trump administration deployed ICE agents on Monday to assist Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel as long lines plagued airports, exacerbated by unpaid TSA workers due to a government shutdown. Senate Democrats had voted to shut down the Department of Homeland Security following the aforementioned shooting, demanding an immigration reform list in exchange for full funding.

Also voicing his discontent was Democratic Senator Cory Booker from New Jersey, who expressed his “outrage” in a Newark Airport speech after the deployment. He criticized the government’s handling of the situation, claiming it was reckless to use a government agency in such a manner, especially one that has, as he described, “flooded into our schools, our churches, our hospitals, our courtrooms, and even into American homes.”

Comedian Adam Carolla addressed Booker’s remarks in a recent episode of “The Adam & Dr. Drew Show,” labeling him as overly dramatic and suggesting he was not honest in his statements.

According to White House press secretary Caroline Levitt, the deployment of ICE agents has reportedly reduced airport wait times, though she indicated that the administration anticipates further improvements.
