Pro-Cornhole Amputee Accused of Murder

An amputee known for his pro-cornhole skills has been accused of murdering his friend and then leaving the body behind, with his former girlfriend describing him as having an “angry, dark side.” Tori Mattingly, who dated Dayton Weber for four years before their breakup in February 2025, told TMZ that she wasn’t surprised by the murder allegations against him.

Mattingly mentioned that their relationship took a turn after she went on a date with the alleged victim, Brad Wells, sometime after she and Weber had played beanbags together. The news outlet also reported that she asserted there was no overlap in their relationships—saying they had chosen to be friends in June 2025 after some ups and downs in their dating life.

According to Mattingly, Weber was aware of her brief romance with Wells, and he also knew they were still friends. Authorities claim that Weber was arrested on March 22 for allegedly fatally shooting Wells in a Tesla SUV during an argument late at night, then abandoning the body and fleeing to Virginia.

Reports indicate that during the incident, Weber was behind the wheel while Wells sat in the passenger seat, along with two other friends in the back. The situation escalated, ultimately leading to the shooting. Afterward, Weber reportedly asked for help in removing Wells’ body, prompting the other passengers to flee the vehicle.

Despite having both arms amputated at the elbows, Weber has demonstrated his ability to handle a firearm skillfully, as shown in a video clip he posted on YouTube. His amputations were a result of a severe bacterial infection he contracted at just 10 months old, which necessitated the surgeries to save his life.

Weber’s next court appearance is slated for April 23, according to CBS19.
