A Wisconsin high school teacher is facing serious allegations after reportedly confessing to having sexual encounters with two 16-year-old students while they were present in the same room.
Nadia Horne, a 22-year-old world studies instructor, reportedly admitted to these incidents. According to a police report, one of the students claimed he had experienced everything sexual possible with her, and she had sexual relations with him three times. This information was shared by WEAU-TV on Monday.
The concerning allegations state that during the initial encounter, another student was in the room, and at one point, the teacher inappropriately touched him before leaving him alone.
During questioning, Horne apparently acknowledged making a mistake but oddly insisted that the relationships were consensual.
Horne’s statements came after she was photographed in distress during her arrest, as police revealed they were investigating multiple victims.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Horne had told one of the boys she couldn’t use Snapchat, purchased him an iPhone 14, and sent him suggestive images, asking him to meet her outside of school.
In a police interview, Horne admitted that the photos could contain nudity.
She also allegedly expressed excitement to meet the boy, describing a physical reaction whenever she saw him.
Before her arrest, she encouraged the students to skip class to visit her apartment.
One message from her reportedly asked, “I shouldn’t be asking this, but can you please come over?”
Furthermore, she was said to have taken the boys to her girlfriend’s apartment, where they reportedly spent time before she had sexual relations with one of the students. Horne mentioned another student was present in her apartment during this time and provided the boys with wine but denied offering them any drugs.
She remarkably claimed that she did not believe she was exploiting the boys.
Horne faces multiple charges, including second-degree criminal sexual conduct and child enticement, with the potential for 40 years in prison if found guilty.
Suspended without pay, she appeared in court on Monday and is set to return on May 20th. Horne was released after posting a $15,000 bail.
