Plan for Mass Deportation Calls on Trump to Increase Workplace Enforcement

Welcome to a site that’s a bit off the beaten path.

Today’s lineup? A bit wild: think mass deportation plans and something called “conversion therapy.” Buckle up.

A new strategy for mass deportations

This morning, the Surveillance Project put out a guide aimed at the Trump administration, detailing how to ramp up a mass deportation effort with a goal of expelling 1 million undocumented immigrants by 2026.

The guide, which was shared with The Daily Caller, lists 21 suggestions. These include tightening enforcement in workplaces, accessing the bank accounts of undocumented immigrants, monitoring visa overstays, and making significant changes to asylum policies.

Interestingly, President Trump has shown some hesitation about aggressively attacking illegal immigration, especially if it could impact corporate profits. He has said many industries, particularly agriculture and hospitality, depend heavily on inexpensive labor.

The Monitor Project emphasizes Trump’s commitment to deporting significant numbers of undocumented immigrants, noting that the effects of mass illegal immigration are now very real.

“State and local governments are facing unsustainable financial strains due to public services being extended to those who shouldn’t be here, along with their families,” the guide notes. “What was once a limited safety net for citizens has morphed into a parallel system benefitting non-citizens.”

While the Trump administration has hinted at softening its stance on illegal immigration, the Oversight Project, in collaboration with McLaughlin & Associates and the Immigrant Responsibility Project, found that a large majority of voters believe addressing illegal immigration is crucial. They also discovered that if Trump successfully deported more than one million undocumented immigrants by 2026, about 75% of his supporters would be more inclined to vote Republican in upcoming midterm elections.

Massy’s fundraising feat

Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie made waves with a sudden online fundraiser that brought in over $300,000 in a “Money Bomb” event, especially in light of a primary challenge he faces from a pro-Trump candidate. The live fundraiser was attended by notable figures like former Texas Rep. Ron Paul, his son, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, former Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and comedian Dave Smith.

In a chat post-event, Massie shared with The Caller’s Ashley Brassfield: “I think many of my supporters are like old-school Reagan Republicans who just want to see Congress function. Some donors even tell me, ‘I never really agreed with you before. Maybe it’s just 70% or 80%, but you’re the only one trying to make things happen right now.’”

Massie also pointed out that a robust primary challenge from former Navy SEAL Ed Gullane could bring lasting harm to Trump’s coalition going into 2024.

“I’m still part of the America First agenda from the MAGA campaign,” Massie noted. “If I win, I believe I can keep those supporters engaged and motivated to vote in November.”

The Noem family drama

There’s been a lot of speculation about why Kristi Noem’s husband appears unaffected by reports of a secret affair with his close aide, Corey Lewandowski. It seems things might make more sense now.

Reportedly, Brian Noem engaged in a bizarre online chat where he dressed as a woman and interacted with a sex worker. He is rumored to have a peculiar fixation with a ‘sexification’ fetish, which involves enhancing women’s breasts to look like Barbie dolls. A controversial photo showed him in a flesh-colored crop top with balloons attached to mimic breasts.

A spokesperson for Noem commented, “She’s heartbroken. Their family feels blindsided and is asking for privacy and prayers right now.”

Pro-life movement faces obstacles

The efforts of the pro-life movement took a hit recently with reports that the Trump administration is looking to restore Title IX funding for family planning services. Initially, the administration wanted to cut these subsidies but reverted that decision after a lawsuit from Planned Parenthood. Yet, the government now seems set on eventually canceling the subsidies after completing its standard review.

“The Trump-Vance administration has opted not to revoke President Biden’s Title X grants to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the country,” remarked the Susan B. Anthony List. “After initially freezing these funds back under President Biden, the administration lifted this freeze in January and extended it by another year.”

SBA List Chair Marjorie Dannenfelser called this a puzzling setback for the pro-life Republican stronghold.

White House press secretary Khush Desai noted that the agency is facing “significant legal challenges” in attempting to end the subsidies but promised that this year would mark the last time family planning receives federal funding.

“The administration has finalized the fifth and final year of Title X grants approved during President Biden’s term,” Desai explained. “The government is contending with real legal obstacles in halting these funds from flowing out.”

Some folks pointed out to me that this dilemma could’ve been sidestepped if the Trump administration had put “pro-life rules” in place earlier in its second term. The Protect Life Rule, which bans Title IX funding for entities that perform abortions, was only reinstated last week after pressure from a group of Republican senators.

Counselor victory at the Supreme Court

Conservative and Christian counselors scored a critical win when the Supreme Court ruled that a Colorado law prohibiting counselors from advising clients against changing their gender is unconstitutional. The decision came down 8-1 in favor of the counselors.

Counsel Kaylee Childs mentioned that Colorado’s law obligates affirmation of gender dysphoria even if the child wishes to explore alternatives.

The justices concluded that the rights to free speech for these counselors take precedence over the state’s attempt to safeguard public health and safety.

“It’s baffling that we may be approaching a significant decline in the quality of American healthcare,” wrote Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the lone dissenting voice in the ruling.

Conservative activist groups have expressed their satisfaction with the decision. Terry Schilling, founder and president of the American Principles Project, stated that the ruling marks a landmark victory for religious individuals, parents, and, most importantly, vulnerable children.

“Kids deserve real support that reaffirms their bodies are not mistakes, that they are wonderfully made,” Jim Campbell, chief legal officer for the Alliance Defending Freedom, stated following the ruling. He noted that this was a significant win for free speech and families who wish to assist their children.
