Trump Informs Bret Baier that 8PM Deadline 'Is Coming' or Iran Will Experience Attack 'Unlike Anything Before'

Trump’s Stance on Iran Negotiations

On a recent broadcast, Fox News host Bret Baier shared that President Donald Trump indicated to him that the situation concerning Iran is nearing a critical point. According to Trump, the U.S. is ready to take action if a resolution isn’t achieved soon.

Baier noted that Trump warned about the potential consequences for Iran, suggesting that the “entire civilization” could be at risk if the deadlines aren’t met. During an interview on “America’s Newsroom,” Baier mentioned a call with the president wherein Trump confirmed that the deadline was “coming closer.”

“I just spoke with the president,” Baier recounted to his co-hosts Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino. “I asked him about the likelihood of reaching a negotiated deal and he responded by saying, ‘At 8 p.m. it’s going to happen.’ He clearly stated that if negotiations reach a critical point, we could expect an unprecedented attack.”

He went on, “As of now, he is committed to that position,” adding that negotiations could shift if there were any significant developments. “I wouldn’t want to wager on that, but plans are moving forward,” Baier explained.

On February 28, it was reported that U.S. and Israeli forces had initiated an attack on Iran after discussions about Tehran’s nuclear and missile programs fell apart. Steve Witkoff, Trump’s special envoy for the Middle East, confirmed this on March 2. Iranian representatives have stated their intent to continue uranium enrichment, claiming they already possess sufficient material for numerous ‘dirty’ weapons.

Baier remarked, “He says he doesn’t want to go through with it, but he’s resolute at this moment and mentions it could be a possibility if we don’t reach an agreement.”

Initially, Trump had signaled his intent to target Iranian power facilities on March 21 via Truth Social, demanding that Iran cease efforts to block the Strait of Hormuz. Although he granted a temporary delay on March 23, this extension would remain in effect until 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday (which corresponds to 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in Tehran).
