Trump Criticizes Biden Over Fatal Hammer Attack Incident
Former President Donald Trump has launched a strong attack on President Joe Biden and the “radical Democrats” following the announcement from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regarding a suspect in a recent hammer attack in Florida. This individual, who is accused of murdering a woman, was identified as an illegal immigrant that the Biden administration had previously shielded from deportation.
According to Trump’s post, the suspect, Rolbert Hoachin, a Haitian national, was “released into our country by the worst president ever, crooked Joe Biden, and radical Democrats in Congress.” He expressed outrage over the incident, stating, “If you import Third World people, you become Third World. That was the reality during the last four years of the Democratic administration.”
Trump further commented on the situation saying, “The video of her brutal murder is one of the most horrific I’ve ever seen. This individual was allowed to remain in the U.S. because the Biden administration granted him and others from Haiti ‘temporary residency.’ This status is widely abused and fraudulent, and my administration is working to end it, though liberal judges hinder our efforts. This single murder should prompt judges to stop interfering with our immigration policies.”
Details have emerged from a surveillance video that shows a 40-year-old man allegedly attacking a woman with a hammer outside a convenience store in Fort Myers. The DHS noted that Hoachin entered the U.S. in August 2022. They revealed that a federal judge had ordered his removal, but the Biden administration had granted him Temporary Protected Status, which is set to expire in 2024.
Lauren Biss, the DHS Acting Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, stated, “This illegal alien brutally attacked this woman multiple times with a hammer. This heinous act was made possible by the reckless immigration policies of the Biden administration, which ultimately cost this woman her life.”
In a further statement, Trump indicated that Americans, particularly Republicans, should remember that Biden and the Democrats are responsible for allowing numerous criminals to enter the nation through uncontrolled borders. He noted, “If the Democrats regain power, our borders will be reopened, and America will once again become a refuge for criminals.”
Trump concluded by calling for prayers for the victim’s family and promised that “justice will be served swiftly and severely in this case.” The DHS has announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement will detain Hoachin, ensuring his deportation regardless of the legal proceedings.
Hoachin has been booked in Lee County Jail, facing charges of unpremeditated murder and criminal mischief, although no bail amount has been listed yet.
While many media outlets shared edited versions of the footage from the attack, Trump opted to share uncensored videos, stating that it was essential for people to understand the implications of current Democratic policies, though he cautioned viewers saying it was not suitable for children.
