Taylor Swift Linked to Legal Dispute Involving Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

Taylor Swift finds herself once again pulled into the ongoing legal conflict between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

The superstar’s name popped up in a list of inquiries put together by the legal teams of both Lively and Baldoni. This list is intended to help select jurors for the upcoming trial related to “It Ends With Us,” scheduled for May.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, one of the questions aimed at prospective jurors will be, “Do you know the following people who may hear from you or hear from you during the trial?”

Swift’s mention comes alongside a variety of other celebrities potentially linked to the trial. The legal teams are also checking if jurors recognize Baldoni, Ryan Reynolds (Lively’s husband), her sister Robin, and several cast members from “Seraph of the End,” including Hasan Minhaj and Jenny Slate.

In a related development, Baldoni’s legal team filed another request, asking the court to extend the review period for Lively’s long list of witnesses and exhibits submitted in a recent joint pretrial order.

The filing stated, “The Lively list is currently impractical for both pretrial and trial purposes, obscures the witnesses and evidence that the Wayfarer parties must actually confront, and creates a great deal of unnecessary work.”

Baldoni’s lawyers have pointed out that Lively seems to have included materials that have “limited relevance or practical value.” The examples they provided included a link to an article about Swift’s cookie recipe and a speech Lively gave about Reynolds’ commitment to family.

They argued that it’s unlikely Lively would present such material, noting that it wouldn’t provide any worthwhile insights to the jury.

Alongside this, Baldoni’s team is also requesting an additional week for reviewing 68 exhibits that Lively has submitted. The representatives for Lively, Baldoni, and Swift were not available to comment immediately.

In earlier reports, Baldoni achieved a significant legal win earlier this month, resulting in the dismissal of 13 of Lively’s claims against him.

Both parties are set to appear in court next month to address the remaining three allegations against Baldoni: breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting retaliation, after failing to reach a settlement.

Baldoni’s team expressed satisfaction with the court’s decision regarding the dismissal of sexual harassment claims. They stated, “These are very serious allegations, and we appreciate the court’s careful consideration of the facts, the law, and the extensive evidence provided.”

Lively also made her stance known via a statement on Instagram, emphasizing that she did not desire a lawsuit but felt compelled to act for the sake of a safe working environment.
