Paranormal author and media figure David Wilcock has passed away at 53, as reported by TMZ on Wednesday.
Authorities in Boulder County, Colorado, noted that deputies were dispatched around 10:44 a.m. on Monday after a 911 call regarding an unspecified issue near Nederland. The emergency communications specialist believed the caller might be experiencing a mental health crisis. Upon officers’ arrival, a man with a weapon was found outside a residence.
Within moments of their arrival, it was reported that Wilcock pointed a gun at the responding officer, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. This tragic event comes years after Wilcock stated in X magazine in December 2022 that he intended to “live” and had “no suicidal thoughts.”
In a social media post, he affirmed, “I’m going to live. I have no suicidal thoughts,” expressing concern instead about the implications of proving the existence of God.
Investigators from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Coroner’s Office, are conducting an inquiry into the situation to determine the official cause and manner of death. Though Wilcock’s name wasn’t included in the sheriff’s office’s initial report, the coroner confirmed the identity of the deceased through scientific methods.
When approached for comment, the sheriff’s office said it couldn’t confirm the identity mentioned in an email.
Wilcock was noted as a lecturer, filmmaker, and researcher focused on ancient civilizations, consciousness, and new paradigms of matter and energy. He authored several works, particularly exploring UFOs and space programs.
In his last video, posted about a day before his death, Wilcock expressed gratitude for life, mentioning that “every day is a gift” even amid concerns about missing scientists.
Wilcock’s website even mentioned his long-standing interest in the paranormal, recalling experiences from a young age that fueled his exploration of psychic phenomena and consciousness. He previously claimed involvement in UFO research during his college years.
Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna expressed condolences on social media, stating, “We have just learned of the tragic death of David Wilcock. We are praying for his family, loved ones, and the millions of lives he touched.” Luna has openly stated her belief in UFOs being of non-human origin and discussed her encounters with supposed interdimensional beings.
