9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville have been on a break for a while, but that’s about to change! Fans of the series can look forward to new episodes soon.

On April 2nd, ABC aired two exciting episodes. In Season 9, Episode 16 of 9-1-1, titled “Where There’s Smoke,” the team tackles a series of puzzling calls and embarks on a daring rescue. Just before the episode concludes, Detective Ben Hook (played by Josh Sternberg) makes another cryptic call—there’s definitely something he’s not sharing. In the same vein, 9-1-1: Nashville Episode 16, “Love To Death,” took a refreshing turn in its storyline as Cammy (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) and agent Nick Turner (Coby Bell) finally decide to go on a date.

After a long wait, the title and synopsis for the next episode have been announced. In Season 9, Episode 17 of 9-1-1, “I Got You Babe,” Buck confronts his past during an electrical emergency, while Maddie navigates the challenges of being a supervisor. For 9-1-1: Nashville, Episode 17, titled “Saboteur,” features an awkward date between Elena and Roxy, alongside Dixie releasing a diss track aimed at Bryce, which escalates into a confrontation between Bryce and Don.

Now, here’s the scoop: Will 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville be returning tonight? Sadly, no. Instead, ABC will broadcast the 2026 NFL Draft from 8 PM to 11 PM ET on April 23rd.

When Will New Episodes Air?

Both 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville will stay off the air for a few more weeks, with new episodes set to return on April 30, 2026. Just one more week to wait!
