‘Sociopathic Mob Boss’: Shooter at WHCD Allegedly Posted Numerous Anti-Trump Messages on BlueSky Account

Accusations Against Man Involved in White House Correspondents’ Dinner Shooting

The individual accused of opening fire during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner maintained a Blue Sky account filled with strong anti-Trump sentiments. He referred to the president as a “sociopath mob boss” and posted content that seemed to glorify gun violence.

Cole Thomas Allen, 31, used the handle “Cold Force” on the left-leaning platform. He described President Trump as a “known traitor” who acted out of “revenge” and asserted he had “maintained known connections” to the Kremlin. Reports indicate that Allen responded to one of Trump’s posts by sharing a GIF of a man firing a long rifle.

In another post connected to the Epstein files, he called Trump a “sociopath mob boss,” stating: “That’s literally what he is.” Additionally, he criticized Vice President J.D. Vance for cutting U.S. funding to Ukraine. Furthermore, an analysis from the Washington Free Beacon revealed that Allen claimed Trump should be “immediately removed from office and tried for a felony.” Days before the dinner, he shared a message branding Elon Musk a “Nazi” and advocating for the abolition of ICE.

Allen left a note in his hotel room at the Washington Hilton, identifying administration officials as targets and expressing apologies to his family, as reported by NBC News. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche mentioned to the network that investigators believe Allen had intentions of targeting members of the administration, ranking the targeted officials by priority while notably excluding FBI Director Kash Patel.

According to his sister, Allen often made extreme statements and alluded to vague “plans” to tackle the world’s issues. Family members disclosed that he purchased several firearms, which he kept at their home without their awareness. Additionally, he was involved in a “No Kings” rally in California and was part of a group known as “The Wide Awakes,” as per CBS News.
