Recall of Toddler Towers Due to Safety Concerns

Around 13,000 toddler towers from three brands have been recalled following numerous incidents and injuries reported. The Federal regulators indicated that many of these accidents occurred because the stools became disorganized or tilted.

The recall affects the Toetol Tower Stool, Wiifo Children’s Tower Stool, and Amzcmj DGD Children’s Tower Stool, totaling approximately 12,830 units as stated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Specifically, there are about 3,000 Toetol stools, 9,700 Wiifo stools, and 130 Amzcmj stools included in this recall.

“The tower stools may collapse or tip while in use, which could allow a child’s torso to fall through an opening on the side, posing serious risks of injury or even death,” the notice details.

In the case of Toetol Tower Stools, there have been 18 reports of collapses leading to 11 injuries, which included bruises and cuts. These stools are offered in white, gray, and natural wood colors, measuring about 20 inches deep, 15 inches wide, and 36 inches tall, with model DETD0001 on the side label. They were available on Amazon from October 2024 to March 2026 for around $130.

Wiifo stools have been linked to 22 incidents of collapse, causing 6 injuries including minor bruises and scrapes. These were sold in white and light decorative finishes, measuring roughly 18 inches deep, 18 inches wide, and 34 inches tall, with model LT005 labeled on the bottom. Retailing on Amazon from June 2022 to March 2026, the price was around $60.

Amzcmj DGD stools reported seven incidents of children falling or becoming trapped, leading to four injuries including abrasions. These stools were priced between $85 and $100 and were sold online from February 2025 to March 2026. They measure about 15 inches deep, 22 inches wide, and 34 inches tall, and can be converted into a table and chairs.

All three types of stool were manufactured in China, and consumers are urged to stop using them immediately and reach out to the relevant company for a full refund, as advised by the commission.
