Ambassador Monica Crowley: 'Having President Trump is Truly Special' During America's 250th Celebration

Ambassador Crowley Celebrates Trump’s Inauguration for America’s 250th Anniversary

At an event with Breitbart News on Wednesday, Ambassador Monica Crowley expressed that having President Donald Trump inaugurated during America’s 250th anniversary is truly a “gift.”

Crowley, who took the lead in the historic freedom 250, emphasized the significance of Trump serving as president during such a milestone. It’s not often that a president gets a chance like this, especially for such a notable event.

“President Trump has a way of joking,” she shared. “He mentioned bringing the FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympics to America, and I kind of thought, well, I’m not going to see it because I’d be serving two consecutive terms. But, as we know, 2020 happened…”

Despite that, she noted the event went exceptionally well. The fact that Trump is serving a rare nonconsecutive second term means he’ll be at the helm for major events, including the significant 550th anniversary of the nation’s founding.

“This really feels like the hand of God here,” Crowley stated, underscoring her belief that it’s fortunate to have Trump as President at this pivotal moment in history.

On a lighter note, she remarked, “The president tried to joke about his role in the 250th anniversary, but, well, it didn’t quite land. Still, it’s genuinely a privilege to have him leading us now.”

She also drew a contrast with what those celebrations might look like under a different administration, particularly referring to Kamala Harris. “Can you imagine if she had been president? There might’ve been just a press release on July 4, and she’d be off to the beach for the day,” Crowley speculated.

However, under Trump’s leadership, that scenario changes completely.

“We’re looking at an incredibly important and thrilling celebration, something President Trump has committed to, and frankly, it’s what our exceptional nation deserves,” she asserted. Crowley highlighted this upcoming event as “really global celebration.

She expressed a desire to rekindle the emotions from the time of America’s 200th anniversary back in 1976, sharing her memories. “I remember that year vividly—fireworks, flags, a whole sense of pride,” she recalled. “I think it held this vibrant spirit that—well, I just hope it doesn’t get lost.”

“There’s something about that American patriotism and love for the country that’s hard to fully grasp if you didn’t live through it,” Crowley concluded, reflecting on the importance of the upcoming commemorations.
