Jake Hall tragically passed away early Wednesday morning during an incident at a house party in Mallorca, Spain.
Hall, known for his appearances on ‘Only Way Is Essex,’ was 35 years old.
Local police reported on Thursday that they are “looking into the possibility” that his death was accidental, suggesting he may have hit his head on a glass door.
A source mentioned it’s still premature to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
The authorities found Hall’s body at the villa, where he was believed to have suffered a severe head injury due to broken glass.
“Witnesses informed investigators that Hall had been enjoying the party throughout the night and then returned to the rented venue to keep it going,” officials stated, indicating he might have been under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
It appears Hall “became agitated” and possibly attempted self-harm by banging his head against an object.
Officials speculated that he might have thrown himself into the glass door, leading to his fatal injuries.
In his last Instagram post, just a day before his passing, Hall shared, “Life can be hard sometimes,” reflecting on focusing on positive memories and his art pursuits.
He is survived by his 8-year-old daughter, River.
Hall’s most recent public appearance was at a post-2026 Grammy Awards party three months prior, where he described it as “unforgettable.” In February, he was seen at a festival with Kanye West and made comments about exciting future plans.
His ex-girlfriend, the mother of his daughter, has issued a statement expressing their “devastating loss,” emphasizing the family’s need for privacy and respect as they mourn.
Hall gained fame on ‘TOWIE’ from seasons 14 to 17, appearing from 2015 to 2016. His relationship with his ex has seen several ups and downs since their first breakup.
