The Kelce Family’s Protective Nature at Games
The Kelce family is clearly not one to take fan disrespect lightly.
In a recent podcast, Kylie Kelce, who is married to Eagles star Jason Kelce, shared that she nearly confronted a hostile fan during a game at an opposing stadium.
She mentioned that she warned this adult man to watch his words or face the fallout.
“I’m the one who speaks up, saying, ‘Hey, are you listening? You’re in the family section, so you really need to tone it down,'” Kylie recounted during the podcast “I Won’t Lie.” She admitted that trying to stand up for herself was probably not the best choice.
She reminisced about a particular incident that occurred when they were out at a game.
“Honestly, it wasn’t my proudest moment. I almost ended up in a fistfight with a fully grown man,” she revealed.
A surprise guest on the podcast, Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Chloe Kim, who is also dating Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, supported Kylie’s stance. “What’s the deal? Protect the man,” Kim responded.
Kylie noted that she had mentioned the story off-air and felt it should be kept off the internet.
Kim chimed in, explaining that she always tries to safeguard Garrett whenever fans make negative remarks about him.
“I really admire that,” Kim expressed. “It’s kind of sweet, I think. Or maybe I’m just naïve.”
Kylie admitted that she can sometimes lose her cool regarding what fans say about Jason.
Even though Jason had a stellar career in the NFL and has since retired, he’s had tense moments with fans too.
Back in November 2024, a group of college students followed him near Penn State’s campus while he attended ESPN’s “College Game Day.” During that encounter, he broke a student’s phone after the fan made unkind remarks about his brother, Travis.
The student provocatively asked, “Kelsey, what do you think about your brother’s issues with dating Taylor Swift?” immediately before his phone met its demise.
Despite Pennsylvania State Police closing the investigation into the incident, Jason later expressed remorse. “I’m not happy with what went down. I regret reacting that way,” he said. “In a heated moment, I met negativity with negativity, which isn’t the best course of action. I realize I stooped to a level I shouldn’t have.”
Kylie appears to share a similar instinct but has managed to steer clear of public altercations thus far.
