Florida accuses influencer Clavicular of shooting an alligator in the Everglades.

Influencer in Legal Trouble Over Dead Alligator Incident

Klavikular, a well-known influencer on LookMax, is facing legal issues again after Florida authorities alleged that he shot and killed a dead alligator during a livestream. The influencer, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, is facing a misdemeanor charge for discharging a firearm in public, according to court documents.

This incident occurred on March 26 when Peters reportedly livestreamed himself shooting the dead alligator at the Francis Taylor Everglades Wildlife Management Area. A video of the act has gone viral, showing Peters and others in an airboat stopping near the deceased animal.

In the video, someone can be heard asking, “Shall we shoot?” to which Peters seems to respond, “Let’s see how dead you really are.” Following the viral footage, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) acknowledged that it was investigating the incident, stating they were aware of the video showing individuals apparently firing at alligators in the Everglades.

Peters’ attorney discussed the case, asserting that his client was following the directions of a licensed airboat guide. They expressed confidence that the full story would clear up misunderstandings surrounding the incident, emphasizing that no humans or animals were harmed.

Although Peters has not yet been arrested regarding this case, he, along with two others—Yavdiel Anibal Cotto-Torres and Andrew Morales—could face up to a year in prison if convicted.

This isn’t the first time Peters has encountered legal issues in Florida. Earlier, he was arrested in Fort Lauderdale due to warrants related to assault and conspiracy charges. This situation followed an incident on February 2, where an altercation allegedly took place at an Airbnb.

When authorities responded, a 19-year-old woman claimed Peters’ girlfriend attacked her. The investigation revealed that Peters might have instigated the incident and attempted to exploit the situation by sharing the altercation on social media.

Currently, it’s uncertain how this latest charge will unfold, and it brings up questions about the boundaries of social media conduct and accountability.
