Check out these Saturday highlights featuring Paige “Paigeviews” Spiranac crushing it at this week’s Truist Championship Pro-Am. The PGAs are really feeling the pressure out there. Rory seemed a bit lost on the course. Did anyone catch that two-foot gimme birdie putt he pushed right during Friday’s round? It kind of hit home—I mean, I’ve done similar stuff. Just last night, while I was in my man cave, putting together sticker envelopes for the Thursday Night Mowing League, I found myself feeling for Rory. That putt was so close.
Back to Paige. There was a time when the PGA Tour didn’t seem quite ready to welcome someone like her to the Pro-Am. She faced her fair share of criticism on the LPGA Tour, especially regarding her attire. Paige once talked about feeling sidelined. It’s like she was coming from an unexpected angle.
Fast forward a few years since the Bud Light situation, and now we see more of Paige from the PGA. You can hear the crowd in the video cheering her on. Women adore Paige. Men definitely do too. Kids want her autograph. It’s a bit of a mixed bag, though—there’s a quote about how there are no women in Bud Light on my Instagram from 2026. It’s kind of disheartening. Check it out if you’re curious.
Paige Spiranac adds another chapter to the ongoing story of her golf journey.
Now, moving on… there’s something I need to get off my chest.
So, regarding the TNML stickers—if you send an envelope for the TNML sticker, I’ll make sure to stuff it in, provided it’s the right size. I didn’t think I had to specify that the envelopes needed to fit the stickers. Some folks sent envelopes that were too small, making it a hassle for me to cover the shipping cost. It’s a lesson learned on my part.
You know, I received this University of Tennessee graduation invitation meant for “Ella Langley” at my TNML mailbox. It had a lengthy note from a graduate directed at Ella. That was… odd.
On another note, Cody’s not thrilled with me. He mentioned it was rough after Outkick got sold to Fox News, and he felt the quality of the screencaps dipped. It seems like they’re trying to satisfy the Fox censors. It’s clear he’s not happy about it, and now he’s gone. It’s unfortunate, really.
Then there’s a tribute to Cody in today’s edition of Screencaps. I worked hard last night trying to find enough Instagram models while dodging naysayers about reloading the page. It’s a tough gig, and I felt Cody’s frustration.
Shoutout to Louis from Savannah—I once had a beer with him. He became a staple reader around 2021, providing updates on various topics. He looked great on Friday, by the way.
Chris B from Houston is confident the Astros will shine against the Reds in Cincy. I totally get the Reds’ woes; I dealt with them earlier this week. The Astros had a rough start with 6-13 before last night’s game, and the Reds were on an eight-game losing streak.
Readers loved Dillon’s spontaneous video of a moose in North Dakota. Tyree from El Paso checked in, reminiscing about his golf days. His father coached, and he and his brother played in high school. He shared some interesting insights about regional golf and the distances involved. It’s nostalgic, but they prefer warmer weather. Always nice to hear that kind of connection.
Rick from Fitness pointed out something I missed on Friday—Mrs. Screencaps and I came across a car that looked like a wind-up toy. Mistake not to snap a picture of that! A little reminder to keep my eyes peeled.
Now, shifting gears to a topic on DoorDash addiction—Chris W. from California made some thought-provoking points about how much money we spend on it. He doesn’t understand the allure of cold food delivered by strangers. His approach is straightforward—grab dinner himself. There’s definitely something to be said for that.
Random thoughts poured in from Jeff about lawn mowers and the realities of life—and whether anyone won tickets to the Banana Bowl lottery. He seems to have a few ideas bouncing around, including reviving a vegetable garden after a frost wiped it out recently.
As for me, my old mower is still cutting it after 15 years, although I finally gave in and got a Honda. It’s interesting how equipment holds up over time.
Anyway, I have to run—got a game to catch at 9am. Don’t want to miss that!
Have a fantastic weekend! Catch you Monday.
